If you
want to be a top sales guy, you got to have a few things in mind.
Try the
following:
- Always ask permission before you speak with your prospects. Questions such as, Is this the right time to talk to you, Can you spare a few minutes of your time... etc. can be handy.
- Spend more time to listen to what your prospects have to say.
- Ask more of open-ended questions that will help you extend the conversation.
- Don’t ask too many questions. Your prospects might get confused and you might not get a clear answer.
- Develop the skill of getting your prospects to commit to yes or no decision.
- Identify prospects that are dragging too much on decision making and wasting your time.
